Compliance Supervisor Consumer Care (Region North - Beijing)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Answer daily questions from Consumer Care organization (Region North) about compliance policies and guidelines (i.e. trips, gifts, events, etc.)
  • Answer on-going questions from Consumer Care organization (Region North) about operational related processes (i.e. reimbursement process, event approval process). Assist CC North China colleagues, as needed, to apply for reimbursement of expenses and for events aligned with compliance requirements, processes, and guidelines.
  • Lead compliance training at cycle meetings, and other opportunities as they arise.  Evaluate compliance awareness and understanding on an on-going basis to determine training needs.
  • Maintain close working relationship with BHC Compliance team, especially Compliance Manager Consumer Care, participate in regular compliance team meetings, support compliance related projects, and exchange information on regular basis.
  • Timely notify BHC Head of Compliance whenever in doubt about or discovery of compliance related issues, and follow the directions of the BHC Head of Compliance on how to appropriately handle the situation
  • Establish an open line of communication across all Consumer Care functions (Region North) so that counterparts feel encouraged to contact the BHC compliance team
  • Be viewed as consultant of integrity and trustworthy advisor on business process and compliance related matters
  • Continually look to improve operational compliance related processes with adoption of best practice

 

 

Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree or abovea
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience related to legal, or compliance, or auditing, or forensic, or ICS, or accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of the Consumer Care business concept and operational activities in the relevant division and its associated compliance risks
  • Ability to implement guidelines, procedures and/or processes
  • In-depth knowledge of international, regional and local Codes and other corporate compliance-related guidelines and concepts
  • Advanced ability to train and lead presentations on code compliance with Consumer Care colleagues and management
  • Role model in business integrity and ethical behavior
  • Solid time management, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Ability to efficiently work in cross-functional teams
  • Creative and flexible thinking
  • Ability to actively and constructively manage conflicts between business and legal concerns
  • Good analytic capability including the ability to identify root causes of issues and corrective actions
  • Good capability evaluating and balancing risks with business needs and processes
  • Native Chinese speaker, fluent in both oral and written English
  • Good Power Point skills.
