New Product Planning Manager

Major Responsibilities：

• Lead the cross-functional New Product Teams from the commercial perspective, build business cases, develop commercial strategy, and drive deliverables per the agreed-upon product development strategy and timeline
• Actively engaged as China commercial lead in EAST (East Asia Sub-Team) for UCB pipeline products and work closely with GPTs, global marketing, China cross-functional team to influence their decision-making on China affiliate related issues
• Ensure in-depth market understanding to support challenges and validates insights, assumptions and forecasts for new products, to underpin Go/No Go decisions and subsequent investment decisions for China
• Conduct assessment of potential in-licensing opportunities to supplement existing portfolio and make go/no go recommendations to Global, Asia Pac Region and China affiliate
• Develops a 10 year vision for UCB Portfolio in China

Requirement：

• Minimal two-year experience in business development, product development, marketing or market research at a major multinational pharmaceutical company with a preference for specific experience in aligned therapeutic areas (CNS, immunology and biologics), New Product launches and cross-functional/global collaboration
• Experience and proven success in leading cross functional teams
• Strong independent analytical skills with experience in forecasting, the development and application of market research, and financial modelling to support business decisions
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong personal drive and teamwork mind-set
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically, anticipating challenges and identifying opportunities that will maximize commercial success and support long term growth
• Ability to lead and deliver work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and able to confidently handle multiple priorities within time sensitive environment
