Franchise Director

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates closely with the Marketing, Medical and Access teams during the Brand Plan process
  • Develops the sales plan within the annual Brand Plan in line with the product strategy as defined by the company.
  • Ensures that appropriate tactical plans within the COMPANY compliance framework are implemented by the sales team, in order to achieve the business objectives (in-market sales) within agreed OPEX.
  • Develops and maintains effective external and internal relationships with key stakeholders, which can influence the efficient operation of the sales team.
  • Measures and evaluates sales performance and activities versus budget and plan. Proactively identify issues and propose solutions to his/her management
  • Ensures the effective collaboration of the sales team with their colleagues from Marketing, Medical and Access.
  • Ensures that adequate systems and procedures are in place in order to be able to monitor performance and compliance and for the sales team to work as efficiently as possible,.
  • Work collaboratively with the supply chain team within COMPANY China to proactively identify any supply chain issues and adapt forecasting and demand planning accordingly’
  • Evaluates continuously the allocation of budget to in order to ensure maximum efficiency in their use
  • Participates actively in the China Leadership Team at which all aspects of the business are discussed.
  • Ensures that all decisions taken on activities for the Franchise are respected and executed
  • Coach the individuals within the sales team in order to achieve the agreed objectives.
  • Develops and maintains a dynamic and successful team with turnover below market average.
  • Develop succession plan and build talents within the sales team by developing & grooming internal talents as well as hiring top talents into the organization
  • Provides the necessary leadership to ensure appropriate direction, employees’ motivation and efficient accomplishment of key business results
  • Treat people with care and respect; ensure that good performance is fairly rewarded and that poor performance is addressed in an effective and proactive way. 
  • Resolves conflicts by arbitration and if necessary escalates to the Managing Director.
  • Demonstrates, promotes and lives the COMPANY Values in all interactions
  • Ensures local franchise operates to the highest standards of ethics and quality in every aspect by complying with COMPANY code of business conduct and industry guidelines

 

 

Requirement:

  • Minimum 10 years Pharma industry experience
  • Experience in sales management. Marketing or Access previous roles would be a plus as well as launch experience.
