Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic research scientist to lead our monoclonal antibody group in Shanghai. This group engages in the generation of potent and specific antibodies for validation of novel therapeutic targets and for engineering of potential protein drug candidates.

Minimum requirements

• The successful applicants should have a PhD degree in relevant life science fields, and a minimal of 6 years experience in generating rodent monoclonal antibodies. First-hand experiences with a variety of immunization approaches, latest adjuvant formulations, and different fusion methods are necessary. The candidates should be familiar with common assay formats for measuring antibody binding, preferably also with FACS based screening methods. Experience in leading a research group and proficiency in written/oral English are required. Helpful qualifications include the knowledge about automation application in drug discovery as well as the understanding of work process in biopharmaceutical industry.
