Controlling Analyst

Major Responsibilities:

  •  Lead development & monitor Annual Budgets/Plan by detailed analysis
  •  Monitor  business development and interpret operation results against long term /short term plans by identifying and illustrating the root cause for deviation and proposing best practice solutions & advice to sales/marketing team  with insight and to improve the efficiency of business operation. Provide business analysis with options and recommendation for decision making to improve both top-line and bottom-line target for short-term and long-term.
  •  Prepare and develop strategic projects / products evaluation scenario from financial / business point of view. new product launch evaluation and processes including sales projection,
  • pricing, consolidated cogs valuing, transfer price defining and future performance projection, etc.
  •  Prepare monthly financial reports on sales & profitability development, advise on the key findings, strengths & weakness and contribution margin results to support steering future business development.
  •  Identify areas/opportunities of costs savings in business operations
  •  Fulfill Headquarter and Region planning & reporting requirements, ensure the efficient and effective communications between Headquarter and Region Controlling and local business partners, Answer all reporting related requirement and inquiries from Region / Global BU with support from Controlling manager , Sales/Marketing managers
  • Ensure financial, business operation, and statutory regulations issues early detective and meanwhile identify potential impacts and give advice from financial perspective to related departments.
  • Strengthen & improve financial information system to ensure data integrity and transparency, which finally support the insightful advice on operating result.

Requirement:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business discipline (preferably with MBA (Finance) or Professional Accounting certification (eg. CPA).  
  • • At least 5-6 years progressive work experience in Finance function. Excellent Financial Accounting, Controlling, Analytical & Reporting skills.
  • • Strong business acumen, coupled with a good balance of strategic thinking and operational rigor
  • • Strong ability in multi tasking , time management , perform well under time pressure
  • • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, comfortable working in a complex matrix organization.
  • • Knowledge of financial reporting system, operation tools , MS Excel skills and hands on experience with SAP BW
  • • Self motivated and able to operate independently
