Major tasks and responsibilities of position

  • Develops life cycle measures including clinical & medical trial strategy and plans for assigned regional brands with RMOs under consideration of Head of Central Brand Marketing guidelines
  • Leads or functions as commercial representative within multifunctional teams for all LCM and/or R&D activities related to the product
  • Supports or leads on a case-to-case basis licensing activities related to the assigned brand
  • Suggests new market entry opportunities for assigned regional brands
  • Promotes and supports, together with the RMOs, Aspirin launch in new countries
  • Collaboration with global scientific societies and global KOLs
  • Design and develop, together with HEOR, an HEOR plan for Aspirin
  • Design and implement , together with medical affairs, a global scientific publication plan
  • Develop and implement, together with medical Affairs, an ISS Study plan
  • Develop global scientific-marketing review and materials summarizing new globally-relevant publications
  • Contributes to regulatory affairs for assigned regional brands
  • Manages, together with Clinical development, ARRIVE trial
  • Develop, together with RMOs, global-regional branding activities : global brand equity Aspirin market research and potential new global campaigns under the BHC Aspirin Master Brand
  • Sets strategy and implements activities to proactively and reactively (as required) manage topics of global media interest
  • Leads the planning for and implementing of longer-term communication strategy and tools, i.e. specific to new/emerging media (Web, scoail networking, etc)
  • Issue management
  • Anticipates trends and issues that are affecting the brands business on a global or regional level, and in coordination with RMO puts an appropriate strategy and plan in place
  • Coordinates the implementation of the issue management plan on a global level to assure consistency and transparency of positive or negative spill-over effects
  • Center of excellence for assigned regional brand
  • Contributes to and builds up centre of excellence for mature regional product management (Consolidates best practices across regions and prepares training materials, Regularly coaches RMOs with latest findings of centre of excellence)
  • Leads activities in the area of competitive intelligence and global market research
  • Implements a structured and systematic collaboration on global activities with Xarelto
  • Promotes and supports, together with the RMOs, the development and implementation of local pricing strategies
  • Supports RMOs in regional and local meetings with the countries, as required
  • Coordinates market access strategy with GMACS2 for assigned regional brands
  • Coordinates, together with the RMOs, compliance with Aspirin’s global packaging design guidelines
  • Develops, with the coordination of SPM and controlling, global StraCo planning for Aspirin Cardio. 
  • Develops and consolidates with RMOs the Global-Regional Brand Plan
  • Supports RMOs on strategic long-term supply planning issues (PP china)
  • Follows, together with Global Brand Support, P&I management
  • Consolidates and reports value of assigned regional brands to Head of Central Brand Marketing

 

 

Qualifications

  • International experience, ability to connect her/his substantial operational marketing experience with long-term strategic development of a brand, ability to absorb large amount of information and develop simple strategies from it, ability to develop hypotheses about the future and deduct appropriate actions/strategies from it, ability to choose appropriate level of detail according to the audience
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and at least one other language
  • Ability to develop at least basic understanding of non-commercial topics that are essential to the development of a pharmaceutical brand (e.g. medical, regulatory, HEOR)
