Associate Manager, Legal and Compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance review and approval: processing simple review and approval works
  • Privacy: coordinate on annual certification activities and handle routine consultation
  • Due Diligence related: consultation on issues/matters identified from due diligence on 3rd parties
  • Compliance Committee: meeting minutes and follow up action tracking
  • In-market sales case tracking: tracking in-market sales cases results and recording into the system and assist to enhance compliance controls at business unit level and drive management team to take initiatives to integrate compliance in daily in-market sales management
  • Assist in data monitoring: assisting to initiate/design/improve/lead the implementation of compliance risk monitoring dashboards and key operation processes/systems that relate to compliance or critical to compliance controls with various departments, functions, divisions using risk based thinking methodology
  • Assist in compliance programs and policies: assisting in continual improvement and development of the existing compliance program, developing training materials and programs, new guidelines and policies in accordance with the company’s business needs; develop and implement new or additional compliance initiatives
  • Following up on external environment: Assisting in following up on the latest development of external compliance requirements, e.g. media, regulation, government rulings
  • Investigation: Assisting in internal investigations, including data analysis, document review and interviews

 

Required:

  • University degree in economics, accounting or law, preferably qualified accountant with financial and operational audit experience, with SOX and FCPA knowledge
  • Over 3 years of post graduate working experience in corporate auditing in a global accounting firm, or experience in corporate compliance in a MNC pharmaceutical company. Legal education background would be an advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required.
  • Good understanding of the China compliance environment, preferably in healthcare industry
  • Hands on experience in compliance or audit procedures
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulatory issues, familiar with anti-trust, anti-corruption and conflict of interest
