Pricing & Commercial Analytics Manager - Greater China

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales Managers and other field personnel to define quarterly goals and tactics
  • Work with senior management to set appropriate quotas for the entire Greater China field organization and oversee the overall planning and implementation
  • Develop and implement analytics related to Sales activities.
  • Provide support to the field organization on contract negotiations with dealers and key accounts - specifically adjustment of discounts, setting of growth targets and variable compensation, and measuring performance to commitment.
  • Share ownership for the Greater China territory mapping system to ensure it’s measurable
  • Develop and present analysis relating to field activities to senior management (forecasting, quote system reporting, etc).
  • Maintain and distribute all necessary reporting to senior management and the field for all sales activities including, but not limited to: the weekly sales forecast and Greater China funnel report.
  • Create forecasts for new product sales (e.g., number of sales prospects we have the estimated revenue impact on the current month and quarter).
  • Ensure data completeness and quality of all sales operations metrics. Develop and maintain data structures, reporting and sales rep functionality to support sales operational and strategic goals
  • Assist in the evaluation and analysis of ongoing sales proposals (quote system) to optimize deal structures
  • Review the field account plans and standardize the information for use throughout the year.
  • Assist the field with customer/partner references.
  • Ensure that strategic and operational initiatives are successful within each product area
  • Assist in the day-to-day inquiries from Greater China President, and Corporate: requests, questions, concerns having to do with sales operations (e.g., quote system, transferring of accounts, opportunity sharing and general forecasting admin, etc.).
  • Monitor “field sales general” costs/expenses; co-manage the worldwide field P&L.
  • Develop and implement improving standards of pricing management for greater profit and business growth in Greater China for all customer transactions.
  • Provide quality information to the senior management in making good decisions and act as catalyst in providing positive and constructive contributions in response to changing business environment.

 

Required:

  • 10 + years experience
  • Demonstrated success in sales operations, business development and/or implementation of strategic business initiatives (new products, services, methods)
  • Financial background/degree preferred
  • Skills (IT, Admin., managerial, executive) and Abilities
