Supervisor Learning & Training
Major Responsibilities:
- Manages the Training and Development area including budget, resources, communication and supervision of other Training and Development employees.
- Owns the Corporate Learning Management System for China Region
- Provides input/recommendations for the Human Resources strategic plan with regard to training and development initiatives.
- Assesses training needs to determine skill or behavioral gaps and develops or obtains programs aimed at closing those gaps. Also, is certified to deliver various courses developed within the Company such as Train the Trainer courses or those courses obtained externally.
- Strives to improve employee relations through various development programs to welcome new hires, promote teamwork, and increase employee retention.
- Assists with the completion of employee training plans working with managers and employees to identify potential developmental gaps and opportunities to close those gaps.
- Leads the deployment of training for a variety of topic areas – language learning, Employee Product Training, Functional training, Compliance
Requirement:
- Attributes that are critical to individual and organizational success
- Knowledge of Learning and Development process including areas such as instructional skills, presentation skills, needs assessments, adult learning theory, curriculum development and other such related knowledge and skills.
- Skilled in investigating employee developmental needs, developing or obtaining appropriate curriculum or proposing learning opportunities and delivering or coordinating delivery of learning.
- Skill in project management.
- Understanding of the business operations and the organizational structure.
- Knowledge of business and management principles in such areas as strategic planning, resource allocation, teamwork development, and leadership technique.
- Knowledge of training processes, systematic training approach, adult learning principles
- Required Undergraduate degree in an Education, finance, engineering, sales or marketing, or Human Resources discipline or equivalent experience
