Human Resources Manager

Major Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with other managers, formulates and recommends Human Resource initiatives
  • Ensures Human Resource Policy and Procedures are consistently applied
  • Manages and co-ordinates the administration of the company’s remuneration policies and programs.
  • Leads compensation and benefits reviews in conjunction with other stakeholders such as JDNW Management, Industrial Engineering, John Deere China Human Resource Personnel, and various Government Agencies.
  • Ensures Internal and External equity is maintained by applying systematic job evaluation methods and regular marketplace compensation surveys. 
  • Co-ordinates  Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management and Workforce Planning activities
  • Manages various employee recognition and retention programs
  • Participates in dispute resolution
  • Advises the Factory Manager and the unit leadership team on Human Resource issues
  • Support or Lead Platform and the Unit’s talent development ambitions and other people related projects
  • Ensures personnel records are maintained to meet, employee, organization and statutory requirements and entitlements.
  • Monitors government legislation affecting Human Resource matters and makes appropriate recommendations and submissions to protect the company’s interests.
  • Directs, coaches and develops JDNW Human Resource personnel
  • Works on special projects as required

 

 

Requirement:

  • University qualifications in either Business or Commerce with a Human Resource or Organizational Development major
  • 2-3 years experience as a Line Manager
  • 3-5 years experience in Human Resource Management
