Vice President Manufacturing China

Responsibilities：

• Manage production at Shaklee China manufacturing and contract manufacturers.
• Manage production and maintenance in total integration basis with Quality Assurance,
• Planning, Purchasing, HR departments.
• Ensure that manufacturing is always carried-out in full compliance with Shaklee
• quality requirements.
• Hire and train all required production manufacturing personnel, as well as maintain a
• system of cross training among the employees under her/his responsibility.
• Maintain a comprehensive and transparent communication system with Corporate
• Management.
• Proactively address potential problems that could affect the quality, delivery time and
• cost of the products manufactured under his/her responsibility.
• Assure that all products are manufactured according to quality and cGMPs
• requirements for food and dietary supplement products.
• Ensure orders are timely shipped to maintain uninterrupted supply to support Shaklee
• sales requirements.
• Responsible to identify and work in continuous basis in the reduction of production
• losses and Cost of Goods reduction

Required：

• Engineering degree (preferably chemical or bio-chemical engineering). MBA desirable.
• At least 10 years work experience in pharmaceutical production food production (experience in food and dietary supplement production is also desirable) as a plant manager, with previous experience as production manager, with demonstrated success in growing companies.
• Professional with integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude.
• Fluent in Chinese and English, fully integrated in both Chinese and American cultures, by having lived in both countries over many years.
• Hands-on management style, capable to lead by genuine example.
• Genuine understand and commitment to the highest quality standards.
• Deep knowledge of cGMPs. and demonstrated experience in working and enforcing such regulations.
• Ability to clearly express technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to enable successful interactions with diverse groups; an
• excellent team player.
• Demonstrated successful experience in setting new manufacturing units, including
• land acquisition, plant design, construction and strat-up.
• Demonstrated successful experience in materials management, planning and
• production scheduling.
• Demonstrated successful experience in managing third party manufacturers.
