Business Development Manager

Major Responsibilities：

• Working closely with other divisions (such as Marketing, Sales, Medical and Regulatory Affairs) to review and identify right business opportunities that are strategically aligned with UCB core business
• Screen / identify, evaluate and develop potential external collaboration opportunities including in-licensing, out-licensing, co-promotion, merge & acquisition and other business development activities
• Coordinate / manage different aspects of deal making including sourcing, valuation, deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, closure and alliance management
• Analyzing new business development opportunities for the UCB China Leadership Team and UCB HQ on an ad hoc basis
• Conducting portfolio analysis and other assessment activities.

Requirement：

• BA degree, MBA preferred
• Very strong analytical / quantitative background
• Good understanding of China pharmaceutical market
• Track record of successful project management and implementation
• Strong coordination / communication skills with demonstrated ability to work and lead cross functional teams; mature; independent
• Excellent written and oral communication with proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Full proficiency in English (verbal & written) and Mandarin
• Having experience in CVS or CNS is preferraed
