Alliance Manager

Major Responsibilities：

• Lead alliance to achieve common goal with partners, especially to maximize the value of projects in collaboration through driving top line/profitability growth.
• Monitor value of collaboration periodically. Lead valuation, its validation and business development approval process in UCB when new investment/condition necessary to be set for the revision/addendum of the contract.
• Plan and monitor periodically regarding the activity which each party has to achieve, by interfacing and letting both parties’ team to set most appropriate challenging goal/target, its road map, and its execution/implementation to achieve it.
• Make all stakeholders follow and respect each party, contract, and maintain contract to revise when necessary from time to time in an official manner. Alliance manager has to be responsible that UCB is bound to its right and obligation to the contract as a minimum request.
• Extinguish potential fire (issues) between parties before it flames. Timely escalate issues between parties in an appropriate manner to solve it leveraging governance frame.
• Make sure all stakeholders in the team to share important information identically throughout UCB and throughout parties.
• Make sure UCB to align its basic standpoint among the group members (including global UCB, when necessary) before sharing/discussing with partners.
• Liaise and promote communications internally UCB and externally with Partners.

Requirement：

• Project management skill
• Practical expertise and job performance such as knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry, including; Development, Regulatory affairs, Commercialization, Supply chain and Legal.
• Experience in licensing process
• Experience in product valuation (could prepare NPV, ra-NPV, IRR etc by him/herself)
• Excellent negotiation skill but with innovative thinking to propose solutions with generous mind to set up collaboration and the market trend (government’s medical service, society, economics, technology, state of the art opportunities and TA unmet needs), products and services-specific information, and human network
