Head of Scientific Externalization

Major Responsibilities：

• Develop and implement strategies and programs that support oncology development and biomarkers studies of oncology products that bring clear medical and economic benefits to healthcare systems in China
• Build a strategic alliance with expert KOLs from state key labs and hospitals to conduct local clinical POC studies to increase the medical values of medicines that improve the quality and length of cancer patients’ lives
• Design innovative clinical research and oncology development programs to explore new indications of medicines, working to accelerate regulatory approvals and supporting market development
• Liaise and work with local health authorities on promoting cancer screening programs and anti-cancer campaigns
• Access external innovation and connections to academic and biotech communities
• Design funding programs for raising awareness and understanding of cancer diseases, collaborate with stakeholders on developing appropriate treatment policies, and provide education and training for healthcare professionals
• Play a leadership role in translational clinical oncology, organize workshops and symposiums for oncology education, and publish with collaborators on novel findings in top high-impact journals.

Requirement：

• Doctorate degree in medical science, cancer biology, cell biology or a related field with an outstanding scientific track record and wide recognition as oncology expert in China and the region
• Over 15 years of professional experience in academic research and/or pharmaceutical R&D in oncology
• Expertise in the oncology area preferably in liver cancer, colon cancer or gastric cancer, be able to interact well with other disciplines on cross-functional teams
• Strong track record of leadership and people management success (from 15-20 staff)
• Excellent  communication  and  presentation  skills  in  English,  and  fluency  in  Chinese
• Buildup coherent network with KOLs in oncology from state key labs and hospitals in different regions of China.
