Communication Manager

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work with other business units and senior executives on development and  implementation of PR & Communication plans and strategies;
  • Provide communication counsel/support to employees/management;
  • Project-manage public affairs initiatives and events;
  • Conduct proactive and reactive media relations (including media pitching, development and implementation of media strategies, writing news releases, and media tracking, gathering and analysis.);
  • Strengthen “sense of belonging” through employee care activities; facilitate effective internal communications through different tools including but not limited to newsletter, intraweb and online regular correspondence etc.;
  • Promote external corporate awareness by developing and producing corporate promotion materials;
  • Maintain relationships with external organizations;
  • Exchange information with HQ, i.e. communicating CRO’s activities to HQ to seek ultimate exposure and introducing HQ’s programs into CRO
  • Follow SOP and play PR’s part in crisis management;
  • Design information release channel, timing and messages
  • Make sure the team reaches communication goals;
  • Coach and improve performance of the team;
  • Finance management

 

 

Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree or college diploma in communications, journalism, business and marketing;
  • Minimum 5 years of public affairs/communications experience;
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability in English and Mandarin;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, PR agencies and team members;
  • Strong teamwork and cooperation skills, proactive, self-initiated, innovative, and enjoys challenges;
  • Proactive and reactive media relations and issues management capabilities
