Medical Information Officer

Major Responsibilities

• Providing most up-to-date, well balanced and unbiased response to external customers (doctors, pharmacists, patients, etc) and delivering true value of Bayer medicine.
• Creating standard response letters for hotline service as well as query handling.
• Facilitate hotline service and provide standardized as well as high-quality response to meet customer needs.
• Library service to internal staff and further extend to external customers based on business needs
• Publication tracking and monitoring for all Bayer marketed products
• Involved in other channels of communicating with customers such as on-site training, conferences where appropriate.
• Set up medical information database as an information portal of Bayer products for all internal staff
• Work with product teams on medical information needs – including proactively in identifying emerging medical scientific data that could be of importance to product strategy
• Execute independently on expert searches to input to product team activities
• Provide customer intelligence from daily interaction with customers
• Assist in maintaining, improving and promoting the medical information service through proactive recommendations for process improvements and leading of select projects where competency shown
• Standardize and implement working procedure for all medical information related work
