External Communication Manager
Accountabilities:
Product communications projects
- develop product communications strategic plan to support the marketing objective
- new product launch communications
- leverage any brand communication opportunity both internally and externally to further build brand equity
- disease and product & treatment knowledge education among public through effective PR campaign
- project budget review and control
Product crisis and issue management plan
- develop crisis communications plan in line with brand strategy in time of issues/crisis
- prepare issue mapping and Q&A protocol for each brand
- Issue management SOP and media policy training in each brand team
Product media relations
- develop and manage strategic media relations
- maintain and expand media database and reach
- ongoing media educational events and interviews
Required Skills:
- Business awareness: good understanding on company strategies and business focus
- Communication and interpersonal skills (with both internal and external parties)
- Project management: planning, execution, agency management, creativity, cross-function coordination
- Language skill: speaking, writing and editing in both Chinese and English
