Business Development Manager

Responsibilities：

• Be a key finance representative of the *** project team working on deal assessment/execution
• Prepare financial analysis for each ***deal including validating the financial assumptions/calculation behind each *** analysis
• Perform financial due diligence on potential *** deals and coordinate external advisors if needed
• Ensure the deal structuring (from accounting treatment to tax implications and funding) follows GSK guidelines and is approved with the relevant Corporate functions
• Coordinate the purchase price acquisition analysis, opening balance assessment, accounting set up with external advisors, local and corporate following an acquisition
• Coordinate the review of the *** financials both locally and at above country level in EMAP and Corporate where the deal requires this
• Be the Finance Lead for *** integration from a financial perspective (coordinating across BU finance and FSSC) in the case of new acquisitions
• Be the communication key point on deals opportunities and deal execution process for the local/regional/Corporate finance functions
• Adopt a flexible approach to analysis and ad-hoc requests. Assist in ad-hoc requests.

Required：

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• Qualified CPA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with at least 8-10 years work experience
• Experience in business development due diligence or equivalent
• Advanced numeracy, accuracy & excellent attention to detail
• Ability to successfully analyse large volumes of data
• Advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure against tight and changing dead-lines and prioritize work and deliver
• Ability to coordinate several activities at once, quickly analyze and resolve specific problems
• Ability to work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal guidance
• Ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English
