Technical Support Representative

Major Responsibilities：

• Respond to customers' inquiries regarding the proper use of general molecular biology products over the phone or in written manners.
• Resolve customers' complaints of a technical nature.
• Serve as a customer liaison and being responsible for promoting and maintaining positive customer relations..

Required：

• PhD in Molecular Biology, cell biology or similar field, post-dr. experience preferred
• A strong background in area of Molecular Biology and cell biology;
• General knowledge and hands-on experience of molecular biology, e.g. subcloning, transformation, PCR, RT-PCR, protein expression in E.coli;
• Experience of using Invitrogen products/technologies on TOPO, GateWay would be good;
• Experience of protein expression on Yeast, insect and mammalian expression, RNAi, miRNA analysis would be excellent;
• General knowledge and hands-on experience of protein analysis, e.g. SDS-PAGE, protein purification, Western Blot, (2D, Mass Spec) etc.
• Experience on cell culture and cell based functional study is preferred.
• Proven ability to digest large amounts of new and complex technical information in a short time.
• Good command of communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in both oral and written English
