HR Manager, Global Operations, China
Major Responsibilities:
- Formulate, recommend and implement relevant HR policies in the plant aligned with company requirement, corporate guideline and Labor Law.
- Workforce planning and management. Partner with TA team to ensure talent supply meet business needs
- Partner with commercial HR team and deploy corporate initiated HR programs and processes
- In charge of overall Performance Management responsibility including Learning and Development. Ensure the orientation and job-related training programs are well designed and implemented aligned with the skill and competency required
- Involve in Ops related C&B program design and implement daily compensation management to ensure a well maintained pay system which reflect the company’s Total Rewards philosophy.
- Coach Ops management team on employee related issues to develop their people management skill
- Builds rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees at all levels, demonstrating awareness of their needs, background and culture. Facilitate Ops employee communication programs.
- To ensure HR processes & procedures are in compliance with the ISP9001 system’s requirement
- Liaise with Government and other statutory bodies (when required) to ensure full compliance to all laws and regulation.
Required:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HR generalist role in multi-national companies
- Among those 8 years, the candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in managerial role in manufacturing environment; industry background is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, strong influence and interpersonal skills, and good ability to build relationship with all levels of the organization
- Possess foreign Language skills and computer skill required to carry out daily responsibilities
- Familiar with Labor law regulations and practices
- High degree of credibility, professionalism and personal integrity.
- Able to work with minimum direction and willing to work in a challenging and dynamic culture
