Dealer Development Manager
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the dealer Business Planning Process and assists company field personnel in conducting planning sessions for dealers targeted for change or rapid improvement.
- Manages dealer selection process and the low performing dealer improve process.Prospectus approvals, dealer contracting and general dealer startup procedures.
- Facilitates dealership change through consolidation, replacement and termination of current dealership locations and ownership.
- Facilitates mergers and acquisitions within the dealer network. Assists with dealer prospectus, buy-sell agreements and the preparation of financial information necessary for approval of new dealer agreements.
- Develops and mentors team members on dealer development responsibilities and processes. Help team members to finalize dealer location planning and dealer standards
- Monitors dealer financial, market and operational performance and finalize dealer development policies to drive improve dealer loyalty and capabilities.Counsels company personnel on the proper application of incentives and terms.
- Trains company personnel on dealer administration processes, dealer terms, agreements and applicable laws.

Education :
Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications,licenses and/or registration requirements.
- Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Relevant Work Experiences :
Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function, organization, industry or product line.
- Field sales and Marketing experience in AG or Auto industry, premium brand work experience is priority. 4 - 7 years
- Dealer/distributor development. 4 - 7 years
- Field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network, limited geographic area of responsibility, and broad product knowledge. - 1 - 3 years
- Experience in management consulting. - 1 - 3 years
- Experience in Project management and business planning. - Small strategic projects or larger tactical projects with medium complexity
- Experience in a position working with Dealers. - 4 - 7 years
