Product Manager
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees research process for identifying key customer requirements in order to define long term strategies for the product portfolio.
- Leads all marketing/customer acquisition processes during the phases of EPDP for assigned projects to ensure products meet market share, profitability and customer satisfaction goals.
- Defines forecasted volumes and pricing for projects and manages balance between market share and profitability throughout the project.
- Maintains strong knowledge of competitors' products, specifications, pricing and market share throughout the
- EPDP process and recommends actions to ensure successful launch into the market.
- Develops strong, aligned working relationships with colleagues in engineering, supply management, strategic and tactical marketing to ensure projects meet expectations
Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience:
- Marketing or product development experience - 1-3 years required
- Customer and/or Channel management experience where employee worked directly or indirectly with customers and/or dealers - 1-3 years desired
- Leadership experience where employee provided direct or indirect work direction to others - 1-3 years desired
- Project management experience - 1-3 years desired
- Extensive experience with all Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Education (Specific Branch of Study, Certificate):
- 4 year degree in Business/Management, Agricultural Science, or Engineering or equivalent experience, Master degree in the above areas preferred
Special Considerations (Shift, Off Hours, Support, Travel, etc.):
- Travel is required.
